That peppery smell never fails to remind me that the year is coming to an end. It's been a long time since i blogged, and many things have happened.
The CG has been growing so much, backsliders have been returning, guys like Desmond and Byron who were once from City Missions are flamin' up right now, getting on fire for Jesus more than ever.
When someone tells you that something just happened in a 'blink of an eye', believe me, its nothing foreign to me. Everything seems to be happening in that 'blink of an eye'.
Sometimes it's just pretty cool to look back, and see how much God has done for you. Couple of hours ago, I was just sitting in my room, amazed at how great God is, to have brought me to where I am now. A phrase came into my head, full blown, right out of a novel: "And nothing was ever the same again..."
As easy as it may sound, blink of an eye, and 4 years just flew past like a speeding bullet that has just grazed your face; pains from the past, but somehow I know that God has everything planned for the future, somehow, things are just gonna turn out great.
I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.

pink tees
Pastor How's birthday celebration was marvellous, Pastor How rocks man, without him and Pastor Lia, there wouldn't be heart of God church. His foot may be injured, but it definitely did not stop him from preaching to us man, he's just such a great role model to me, and more than being that, a great spiritual father and a leader to all of us. happy Birthday Pastor How!!
couple of days back i did some crazy stuff with my white tee.
tie dyed, now it's pink!
played for zone F service with elevate, zone F service was just awesome. What Pastor Lia preached about really marked another chapter of my life with Jesus. I was just so inspired to just write another song after Pastor prayed for me.
Salvation's free, but you've got to know that it cost Him everything. it's just cool to look back and to think of the state that i would be in without Jesus, without coming to hoGc, without getting to know such wonderful pastors and churchies. I feel that i kinda register with King David's life, haha i wanna be a man after God's own heart!
its gettin late and im gonna sleep now, gonna chiong PP with alton tmr! rest well

its been a while since i blogged. i was too busy doing other stuff !!
im super excited drumming for elevate. I cant wait for the day elevate breaks through. one day elevate's just gonna be like pheno, 41st day and RESO. speaking about reso, i cant wait to be back on the electric guitar! ! ! ! ! :D:D:D:D im so excited!!!!!!!!
i ate a whole chicken by myself, please don't underestimate me due to my bamboo built. c7 and c70 went arnold's chicken, best chicken in the world, i can vouch. it's kinda cool, im a huge eater, but my size doesnt reflect no nothing about this phenomenon, i just ate like 23098324098234tonnes of sashimi with daniel and matthaeus yesterday before elevate rehearsal!
right now im thinking of what daniel said, musicians and creative ppl are probably the darkest and most emotional people who have ever touched the face of this earth. it's quite scary, worse than emo kids who slash their wrists because they seem normal on the outside, but all the noise is going on deep on the inside. i'm a musician too. im glad to say that God has probably blessed me with more emotions than many others, it went the other turn for good! i remember how i used to be super dark back then. to all you guys out there, wrangle your emotions, you're a steward over it too!

Idealistic
Discipleship class with Pastor How was awesome.
Watched Lambs for Lions, awesome movie, but more than that. Another life changing moment for most of us i feel.
I'm gonna carry the vision, and soon i will be carried by it!
Time really flies, to think that Jesus can actually make use of a person like me. God can change a boy who once listened to Blur and Oasis everyday in 1995, into a musician, passionate to serve the Lord!
I cannot wait for school to end!

play beautiful
hi, if only i could kick L##dia W@#g's head till it flys like a soccer ball. She has never given me an A apart from the first week of school, super stingy! Well theres always UT, but still!!! ah nvm
Rehearsal was pretty awesome today, groovin along pretty well! It's really cool to be on the drums and on the electric guitar, whatever that these pair of hands can do, i will use for the work of the Lord.
For all You've done, what more can i do, but to give you my all
Even giving my all seem insufficient next to Your mercy and grace
Let not my hands labour in vain, but for You O Lord, Forevermore.

le schnizzle
BMT B was awesome, Ops General training, received so much from Yassy Jianming and of course, Pastor Lia. The things that they talked about with regards to serving in the house of God really spoke to my heart so much.
Everyone tt was involved in the ops general training is GOING TO BE AN USHER!
to be frank, i have always looked up to the ushers in our church, they never fail to provide first-class service, definitely giving God their 110%!
these few days God has just been speaking to my heart so much, the church is moving, restructures done, but somehow, everyone seems to be growing spiritually and our capacity, expanding.
God's good, somehow i can just smell something brewing, c7 and c70 is gonna grow despite being a couple of days after restructure, i can smell it!!
more and more Tommys are going to be added to the RP team!

God spoke to me about the dream that i had and dropped this entire verse into my heart. Isaiah 40. and the amazing thing was that, i was just citing from this verse without knowing that it was from this verse. y'know, those kinda situations whereby you know that its found in the bible but you just totally forget where exactly it is located at.( look at my prev blog post ).
God is so great i can't begin to use words to describe.

People in the CG might face PO, but what's PO?! God is the same yesterday today and forever. He IS the God who delivered Israel out of the hands of Egypt, He IS the God who brought fire down to the altar that dumbfounded the worshippers of Baal, He IS the God that parted the Red Sea, He IS the God that raised Lazarus from the dead. PO is NOTHING! any problems that we face is nothing to God, overcome, overcome c6.
Get up stand up. Everytime i am faced with problems, the scene from LOTR Return of the King just starts playing in my mind. Frodo and Sam fighting their way up the Cracks of Doom, half-dead, tired, but they continued, pulling every bit of energy of their being, with the Shire on their mind, and soon, the Eagles came and they mounted themselves on Eagle's Wings to safety.

Graffiti!
Was really inspired by Banksy and his stencilling, decided to do something different, stencilling. Right infront of my bed, so that i can get to see it every morning, and be inspired to trust in the spiritual realm, and trust in Jesus, 4TH DIMENSION!
And i'm serious, i sprayed it on my wall already.

22nd june 08
22nd June 08, a day that i will remember for life. A milestone for Resonance! What Pastor Lia debriefed us about really motivated me in the spirit, i seriously cant wait for the future, 7 more worship teams, Elevate's improving! Forth Dimension yo, 7 more worship teams!
Something really unexpected happened too! After the debrief, Daniel notified me to go up to the studio for a drum audition infront of Pastor Lia and many other drummers, and i didn't prepare anything! but it was great! ! !
Man i seriously can't wait for the future, everyone in the worship team is growing so hungry for God now, c6 almost brokethrough! next week is gonna be da bomb! >30!
Im feeling super sleepy right now, i'm just gonna keep this short, there are lotsa things that cannot be put into words. GNITE im gonna sleep and talk to my God!

cheers to blogging in class
Im blogging in class now and im not paying attention to hung ju and john presenting.
Watch Hulk yesterday, really great movie 4/5 stars.
Something really cool happened to me yesterday and it wasnt the first time. We were walking out of Cineleisure over to Somerset MRT station and all of a sudden i just knew in my heart that i would bump into Genghis. Freaky enough, we met Genghis and his CG over at the escalator. This isn't the first time, and it gets freakay!!!!!! I have dejavus SUPER OFTEN too! Gifts of Discernment!
After the movie we went over to macs@dhoby to discuss about what amp to get, guess its pretty much finalized, either a Carvin, THD, or a Fender!
Just have to thank God for such wonderful CG, such wonderful bros and sis in Christ man. These guys are awesome!

Terrifying Guitar Trip
Just had 2hrs of intensive guitar practise, did some Paul Gilbert finger exercise for approx 2hrs straight and now my eye's going out of focus.

RP!
oh yes and just to add on, devil, RP's got more manpower for prayer now.
If 12 people with the power of God can turn the world upside down, we can change the school and bring the love of Jesus Christ to our classrooms.

School's reopening tomorrow.
God has been adding to the RP gang, directly and indirectly, something's brewing lets pray for a revival! Cannot begin to tell you how powerful the RP guys and girls are, seriously. Tomorrow we are going to kick start our reopen with a prayer meeting again just like any other Monday and Friday.
Service was awesome as usual. It's reality, and it's a pretty sad truth that we all face, and we belong to either 2 sides of Christianity, Selfish or a life for Others.
Can't wait to see C6 explode, run run run! It's pretty amazing how God really moves when we pray. We didn't do anything big in RP, but we prayed, and things just happened all of a sudden. It's gonna happen in C6 too!
Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God
I'm gonna plan my time to go for at least one staff and leader's prayer meeting every week. Gonna be exciting yo!

Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting!
Today's service with Pastor Joakim was awesome. As what Pastor Lia said, Resonance is really heading somewhere, its more than just abilities but its whether can the team flow with the speaker and minister to the speaker.
The presence of God just hit me like waves while I was on stage, literally. Its really different to play a song that is close to your heart, like a song that you have specially to Jesus. For me, Alleluia and Mercy are one of the many songs that mean alot to me.
It's more than just talking about Forth Dimension Forth Dimension, but really in my opinion after what God has spoken to me, its about living your life as thought you are living it in the moments to come, the moments that you see in the Forth Dimension. Just like the leadership in Yoido Full Gospel Church, preaching to dummies, but actually, they are bringing themselves into what they would face in the moments to come. I seriously cannot wait for hoGc to be overcrowded ala Ignite crowd, just that the people in hoGc will be on fire, praising and worshipping God with everything, and i certainly cannot wait for C6 to breakthrough 30, i can smell it, and i mean I CAN SMELL IT !
I'm smelling some toys too.
BUT IM GONNA PAY MY BUILDING FUND FIRST!!
